Second Story is a community-based and volunteer-driven educational organization that helps young people in Indianapolis form positive attitudes about writing and improve their skills as writers—thus increasing their chances of success in academics and in life.

Their mission is to help kids 6 to 18 find joy in writing as they discover their voices, explore their world, and embrace a life of curiosity and self-expression.

Authors from across the country were  invited to take part in this anthology by creating stories with Indianapolis as the backdrop. My story, The Incident at Methodist Station, was chosen to be part of the print edition.

Proceeds from the print edition go to Second City and can be pre-ordered here: http://www.secondstoryindy.org/2015/09/pre-order-mythic-indy-and-support-second-story/

To kick off the book, contributors were invited to Well Done Marketing for a launch party this past weekend. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend because of a schedule conflict. It was quite the party, though.

The book is visually stunning and I cannot wait to get my contributor copy. If you haven’t seen it yet, check this out:
